Following the removal of the existing buildings we transformed the site and delivered four highly desirable new homes. We have created a steep change in density replacing one 1,200 square foot bungalow with four 2,200 sq ft detached homes - almost 8 times the total amount of residential floor space on this site.

The ground story is partially sunken relative to the Wade street sidewalk to create garages and in turn a private, yet active streetscape. Each home has its own private backyard which is overlooked and well connected to the main living spaces.

The townhouse model, unusual for LA, achieves greater densification with no loss of space, privacy or quality of living. Tall double height spaces and private outdoor space combine with the benefits, particularly for families, of living in closer proximity to neighbors.
